CALLING ALL ATOMS/MITES PLAYERS Ages 3-8 years old
Ice Sports Arena is hosting 5 on ice ‘season preparation sessions’ for all Atom and Mite players. Each session will run 50 minutes and will be accompanied by Coaches to put the kids through a series of development drills and scrimmages.
On Ice Session Dates:

Open House/Free Skate - The Kansas City Junior Outlaws will be hosting an open house on Sunday August 10th from 4:00pm -6:00pm at Ice Sports.
· All new & returning Outlaw House/Travel players and their families are invited to come Skate & eat for Free!
· Bring a friend and introduce them to the coolest sport in town! Sign up a friend, receive a discount on your fees!
· There will be two hours of free skate including broomball on half of the ice. Enjoy free hotdogs, chips, cake & drinks.
· Don't miss out on our annual USED or NEW equipment sale. Bring your stuff ready to sell... priced with full name. If you want to sell something and can't make the sale, just drop it off the week before at the rink.
· For those of you wanting to play mini-golf, the cost will be reduced to $3.00 a player (4 & under free).
1st deposit of $150.00 at time of registration.
Walk-In Registration
· The registration forms for the 2008 – 2009 season are available online.
· Click on the “Handouts & Forms” button to download and print the forms.
· You will need to have the Consent to Treat Form notarized (notary on hand @ registration for free).

Tryout Information
· Travel Team tryouts for Squirt, PeeWee & Bantam levels will be in August.
· Save $ by Pre-Registering your player at...www.kcjroutlaws.com
· House Conditioning/Evaluations will start in late August with practices starting the second week in September. House games will start in October and end in March.

KANSAS CITY JUNIOR OUTLAWS TRYOUTS
Tryout times for the Kansas City Junior Outlaws travel teams will be in August. Exact dates and times are forthcoming. In a continuing effort to streamline our processes, we ask that each travel team candidate “pre-register” for tryouts. The pre-registration will allow us to process players more quickly and will also permit the coaches and evaluators be better prepared for each try out session.
Pre-registration is simple…just send an email to Lori Kiegerl, at lorimaemom@kc.rr.com with your players name, birth year, phone number and position preference. Candidates are encouraged to attend all sessions , but for those who may have conflicts with any of the sessions, please note which sessions you will not be able to attend. Upon check-in, the player need only to verify his/her presence and will be assigned a specific jersey for all sessions.
In another process change, there will be a single flat fee for the try out process. The fee, which is noted below, is due at the first session. For those unable to attend a session, a pro-rated credit will be issued against the player’s account. Note that for those who assist us by pre-registering, a $5 discount will be applied to the fee.

TICKETS FOR BLUES & KINGS @ SPRINT CENTER
The Outlaws will be ordering tickets for the upcoming St. Louis Blues & LA Kings game Sept. 22, 2008 @ the Sprint Center. If you would like to order tickets for the game we will be ordering a block of the $50.00 tickets. With our group rate discount it will bring the price to $40.00 a ticket.

Summer Skills Clinincs Begin June 16
Sergei Bautin is putting on two different clinics next week.
- Shooting Clinic: Meets Monday nights at 5:30pm. Starting June 16th and ending on July 21st.
- Puck Handling and Passing Clinic: Meets Thursday nights at 5:30pm. Starting June 19th and ending on July 24th. 6 sessions for $100
Each series consists of 6 sessions for $100, or sign up for both for only $150!
